No, creating a female character doesn't inherently take more time, but it would be a separate process that would require it's own resources. You couldn't just take the male stuff and make adjustments.
Also you need to understand, creating and animating a character is collaborative process. It isn't just one person doing it. Typically, a concept artist would need to design the character, then a digital artist would create the assets to build the character, then...
How about Dinosaurs.
No seriously. No one was expecting the Zombies in World at War, so why not Dinosaurs?
This game really has my attention. I just hope the Nemesis system works as advertised.
It funny. I can remember a time when game's would constantly get pushed back; no even blinked about it. But in the last 2-3 years of the previous console cycle, games always hit there release dates... But then also always needed a Day One patch.
I'd much rather wait for a finished product.
As amazing as this is, I think people forget how smart of a move this is on Valve's part. They get a high value, prestigious event and they don't have to pay the winner's a cent of their own money. Genius.
So... People really like Watch Dogs.
I just hope the story pans out. Devs sometimes forget that with an RPG, narrative is paramount.
So is there anyone that hates this game? Because it seems to be coming roses everywhere
I dont see this happening. I think the mobile crowd just isn't into active multiplayer. Happy to be proven wrong, though.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....
Probably cause DICE is busy with Star Wars: Battlefront and Mirror's Edge 2. My theory anyway.
Well the shared mechanics is kind of a obvious connection, but that's not really what I was getting at.
I don't know what the overall narrative for this game is, but Abstergo - ie the bad guys from Assassin's Creed - clearly exists here. It may just be a fun inclusion, but it wouldn't it be cooler if the connection was more substantial
That review is almost as long as the game ;)
I believe this is something the PS4 will be gettin soon.
BUt then why call it a gameplay trailer??
From a pros and cons perspective, I think the con column is much heavier. It's true that YouTube could bring functional stability, but I think the corporate influence would harm Twitch in the long run.
If the deal is somehow structured that that Twitch remains autonomous, then it could possibly work.
This does seem like an uncalled for penalty. Why can't players jump in and out of online play at it suits them?
Be it ever so humble, the games that we play. (hehe. See what I did there. I shut up now.)
That is also a distinct possibility. Though if it does make an appearance, it will likely be in non-gameplay trailer form.
You're not wrong about the bottom line being the most important thing to Ubisoft, but that doesn't diminish the need to increase the number of games with a female lead characters. Or other minorities for that matter.
And on that note, females aren't even a minority. If the ESA are to be believed, then nearly half of the game playing public are female. Is it any wonder then, that people are asking for better representation?
